The half marathon course takes runners through some of Santa Fe’s most iconic and picturesque areas, including:
Historic parts of Santa Fe with rich architectural and cultural views.
Sections along Route 66, the Old Santa Fe Trail, and Paseo de Peralta — giving a taste of the city’s unique heritage and landscapes.
Stunning High‑Desert Environment
Expect beautiful desert scenery unique to the Southwest, with high‑altitude vistas that provide both challenge and inspiration during the run.
Community & Festive Atmosphere
The race is part of a larger wellness and cultural festival (Sept 18–19 in 2026) that includes events like a health expo, storytelling, workshops, adaptive sports inclusion programming, and entertainment — turning race day into a full community celebration.
On‑course entertainment and drumming performances help motivate runners throughout the event.
Excellent Race Support
Multiple aid stations with water, electrolyte drinks, and snacks are placed along the route to keep runners fueled and hydrated.
Medical support and restrooms are available at key points for safety and comfort.
A special hoop dancer performance at the finish line celebrates local tradition and adds a memorable cultural touch.
Post‑Race Celebration
After crossing the finish line, runners are welcomed into a lively post‑race festival with food, entertainment and community festivities.
