Agnes Jebet Tirop, one of the most decorated Kenyan distance runner found dead a few days ago in her house in Iten Kenya. Agnes found with some wound in her neck and abdomen according to Kenyan police report. Agnes was an Olympian a former world championship bronze medalist in 5000m was allegedly stabbed by her husband.
According to Kenyan police, her husband was arrested yesterday in Mombasa. He is suspected that he wanted to flee the country.
Athletics fraternity is mourning a lost heroine in the sport arena. She has achieved more and there was still a lot in the tank. She just break a women only 1oKM road race in Germany last month
