Celebrating Outstanding Finishers

Overall top male, female, and non-binary finishers will receive custom event trophies. In addition, deep age-group awards will be presented to the top three men, women and non-binary finishers in each standard 5-year division.

Awards ceremonies take place near the main finish line arch starting approximately 30 minutes after the top division finishers cross.

Age-Group Medallions

The top three men, women and non-binary finishers in every age group — sixteen 5-year divisions, scored separately in each category — take home hand-made medallions crafted by Maasai artisans — carrying the race’s Kenyan roots to the finish line in Santa Fe.

They are made by hand, so no two are identical. If you make the podium in your division, you are taking home a piece of work by an artisan, not a stamped disc.

Every finisher, in every distance, still receives the hand-thrown ceramic medal. Overall winners receive custom event trophies.
