Race Weekend Volunteer Roles

Choose the role that fits your energy! Most positions are for September 20, 2026 (Race Day), with expo shifts and Kids 1K Dash support on September 18–19. Volunteers aged 12 and under are welcome with an adult.

Water Station Crew

Cheer on runners and hand out water & electrolytes at stations along the 13.1-mile course.

Race Day · 5:30 AM–2:00 PM

Finish Line Crew

Welcome runners across the finish line, hand out medals, and assist with post-race celebrations at Reunity Resources Farm.

Race Day · 7:00 AM–2:00 PM

Course Marshal

Guide runners along the route, manage intersections, and ensure everyone stays on course safely.

Packet Pickup & Registration

Help runners collect their bibs, shirts, and race packets at the Health & Wellness Expo at Warehouse 21.

Kids 1K Dash Support

Keep the Kids 1K Dash fun and safe — cheer on young runners, manage crowd flow, and celebrate finishers.

Assist vendors, guide attendees, and help run the Indigo T-Shirt Workshop and cultural demonstrations.

No prior experience is necessary! We welcome everyone, and our team will provide training to help you feel confident in your role. Just bring your enthusiasm!

Absolutely! Volunteering is even more fun with friends. Just make sure you all sign up, and if you have a specific role in mind, let us know so we can accommodate your group!
