Time Limits & Cut-offs

The 2027 Half Marathon is a runners-only race, with no walkers. Here is exactly how long the course stays open and what closes when on race morning, Sunday, September 19, 2027.

The Course Limit: 3 Hours 30 Minutes

The Half Marathon course stays open for 3 hours 30 minutes from the 7:30 AM start at Romero’s Park — course support ends at 11:00 AM. That works out to roughly 16 minutes per mile, so plan on a steady running pace to finish inside the window.

The 3-Amigos Relay runs on the same clock: the team’s combined time must fit the same 3-hour-30-minute window. Saturday’s 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Dash run on their own schedule; their start times and any time limits will be posted before race weekend.
