How do I handle the altitude?
Santa Fe sits at 7,000 feet, and it hits different if you're coming from sea level. Arrive two or three days early if you can, keep a water bottle glued to your hand all week, ease off the pace on the climbs, and don't judge your fitness by your first shakeout here. Where is packet pickup?
Half Marathon and 3-Amigos Relay runners pick up their bib and shirt at Reunity Resources Farm: Friday, Sept 17, 10 AM–5 PM, or Saturday, Sept 18, 10 AM–5 PM, 2027. 5K and 10K runners pick up their bib and shirt on Friday, since their races start Saturday morning. Sunday race-morning pickup (6–7 AM) is for emergencies only.
Los corredores del medio maratón y del Relevo 3-Amigos recogen su número y su playera en Reunity Resources Farm: viernes 17 de septiembre, de 10 AM a 5 PM, o sábado 18 de septiembre, de 10 AM a 5 PM, de 2027. Is there a gear check?
In 2026, Half Marathon and 3-Amigos Relay runners could drop a bag at Romero’s Park from 6:00 to 7:00 AM, using the official clear bag from packet pickup, and collect it at Reunity Resources Farm from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Where do I park, and is there a shuttle?
In 2026 each race had its own lot: Half Marathon and Relay runners parked at Romero’s Park at the start, and 5K runners at Reunity Resources Farm. A free Santa Fe Trails bus looped Romero’s Park, the San Isidro Church lot and Reunity before and after the race. 2027 parking and shuttle plans will be posted before race weekend. En 2026 cada carrera tenía su propio estacionamiento: los corredores del medio maratón y del relevo en Romero’s Park, en la salida, y los del 5K en Reunity Resources Farm. How does the relay sash work?
The 3-Amigos Relay uses a ceremonial sash instead of a baton. Runner one wears it from the start, hands it off at each exchange zone, and runner three wears it across the line. The sash is chip-timed — no sash at the finish, no team time.

Is there a time limit?
Yes — the 2027 half marathon time limit is 3 hours 30 minutes from the 7:30 AM start, and walkers are not permitted. After that, the course reopens to traffic on schedule.

When does registration close?
Registration is open on RunSignup. Online registration for all five events closes September 15, 2027. After that, you can still register in person at the Race Weekend Expo.

Can I defer or transfer my entry?
