With only 10 weeks left until race day on September 20, 2026, the Santa Fe International Half Marathon team is thrilled to share key updates regarding our 2026 elite athlete field, community partnerships, and record-setting charity targets.
World-Class Elite Field Confirmed
Our high-desert river-corridor course has attracted an outstanding lineup of regional and international athletes looking to challenge their personal bests at 7,000 feet elevation. This year’s field features top competitors from Kenya, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico who will lead over 3,000 runners up the Santa Fe River corridor to the mile-9 turnaround and back to the finish at Reunity Resources Farm.
Supporting New Mexico Youth through Lightning Boy Foundation & WEFTA
True to our mission of celebrating culture and supporting community wellness, we are pacing towards a record-breaking donation pool this year. A portion of every registration fee is donated directly to local charities. We are proud to announce enhanced fundraising goals for the Lightning Boy Foundation, supporting traditional Hoop Dance and youth mentorship in New Mexico, as well as the Kitany Water Project through WEFTA.
