Start Line

Located at the Santa Fe Plaza on Washington Ave. Arrive by 6:30 AM to clear security and find your corral.

Finish at the Santa Fe Plaza festival area. Medals, food, and post-race festivities await you at the finish village.

Gear Bag Drop

Adjacent to the start line. Drop your gear bag between 5:30–6:45 AM. Bags are transported to the finish line for pickup.

Located at the start line and finish area. Medical volunteers and EMTs stationed along the course every 3 miles.

What to Bring

Don't leave home without these race day essentials.

✅ REQUIRED ITEMS

  • Race Bib — Pinned to your front, visible at all times
  • Timing Chip — Attached to your bib (do not remove)
  • Photo ID — Required for packet pickup & bag drop
  • Wristband — For relay runners & spectator access zones
  • Medical Info Card — Completed emergency contact details

🎽 RECOMMENDED ITEMS

  • Layers — Santa Fe mornings are cool (7,000 ft elevation)
  • Sunscreen & Sunglasses — High altitude UV is intense
  • Personal Hydration — Optional, water stations every 2 miles
  • Energy Gels / Nutrition — Bring your preferred mid-race fuel
  • Post-Race Clothes — Warm layers for after you finish

⚠️ Rules & Requirements

Please review these event rules before race day.

🎧 Headphones

One earbud only — you must be able to hear course marshals and safety instructions at all times.

⏱️ Course Cut-Off

The course closes at 10:30 AM (3.5 hours from gun start). Runners past cut-off points will be safely transported to the finish.

🐕 No Pets or Strollers

For safety of all participants, pets and jogging strollers are not permitted on the race course.

🪧 Bib Transfer

Bibs are non-transferable. Running under another person's bib is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

🌄 Altitude Awareness

Santa Fe sits at 7,000 ft elevation. Hydrate well the days before the race. Slow your pace if you feel altitude effects.

♻️ Littering

Please only discard items at designated water stations. Littering on the course may result in time penalties.

Every finisher receives a unique finisher medal. Award ceremony at 11:00 AM at the finish village stage.

🥇 Overall Awards

Top 3 Male & Female overall finishers receive awards and prize money. Masters (40+) top 3 also recognized.

🎖️ Age Group Awards

Top 3 in each 5-year age group from 18–19 through 75+. Awards presented at 11:00 AM ceremony.
